THE SARAH APPEAL DINNER DANCE
6th JANUARY 2007
06-01-2007 The Sarah Appeal Dinner Dance was a great success. Everybody was so generous and there was a huge turnout. The Lismoyne is a wonderful venue and the evening was made more special by the fact that Sarah managed the journey from the hospital and stayed until the end of the evening. Everyone was commenting on how good the groups were. Both Smith6079 and Wired were wonderful and gave their valuable time for free. We also had a fantastic magician, Lee Ferriday, who raised money doing clever magic. The two auctioneers, Richard Waller and Alan Gallop were fantastic and their wives Kay and Linda worked very hard collecting and collating all the donations, thank you so much. Thank you also to everyone who donated the lots for the auction everyone was so generous. The raffle was also a hit. Thanks to everyone who sold and bought tickets and to all who donated the prizes. The total amount raised to date on this wonderful evening is £5343. Thank you so much to all who came and to everyone who helped and to those who gave their time, money and effort. Thanks to ALL who helped organise this event with special thanks to Lynne, Cheryl, Georgia and Richard. |
