The Sarah Yau Appeal

Sarah (nee Henkun) & Ray
Yau are a young couple from Camberley,
who were married just
over a year ago. Sarah has recently learned
that she has developed
rare neuroendocrine ovarian cancer, which is terminal.
She is currently having a
second course of chemotherapy to try to shrink the
tumours.
We have found a clinic in
Germany that can treat her to
help her live
longer and
improve her quality of life. They use
drugs, tests and procedures not available in
the UK and, if appropriate, can also
continue the treatment she is receiving.
She will have to stay in the clinic for
two weeks at a time, which is very
expensive indeed.
We're
Sarah’s family.
As you can imagine we want her to have the most effective treatment available
and we
are working on all kinds of ideas to
raise funds. We do not know how much treatment
Sarah will need
because the best course of action
has still to be decided.
